Tickets cannot be purchased online for a tour taking place within 24 hours. However, walk-ins are welcome at the Evan Williams Bourbon Experience. Please call (502) 337-9593 for further assistance (Monday-Friday only). For hours of operation and tour information, call (502) 585-3923 x1.
The Traditional Tour takes you back in time to see Evan Williams’ original distillery, in addition to the Louisville wharf in the late 18th Century, and a recreation of Whiskey Row along Main Street from the 1890’s through the present. You’ll learn how Heaven Hill’s modern Bernheim Distillery operates and discover how it is different from distilling in Evan Williams’ era. Then, you’ll get to see a combination of the two—a state-of-the-art, modern, operating distillery utilizing the same types of pot stills as the early Bourbon-making days.
The Speakeasy Tasting Experience transports you back in time to the 1930’s to celebrate the last days of Prohibition in Louisville. If you guess the secret entry password correctly, you’ll gain access to our very own historic Speakeasy, where you’ll learn about the city’s rich Bourbon heritage and tradition. As our Speakeasy guest, you will also partake in a variety of educational Bourbon tastings, including: Evan Williams Bottled-In-Bond White Label, Pikesville Rye, Henry McKenna 10-Year-Old Single Barrel and Evan Williams 12-Year-Old Red Label.
The 30-minute Speakeasy Tour is available Friday through Sunday only and costs $18.
